Selvaag Art Collection

With over 1.500 works, the Selvaag Art Collection is one of Norway's largest private art collections. In a film project entitled “Artists talks”, OiOiOi developed short film interviews with selected artists, including Norwegian sculptor Elena Engelsen and American contemporary artists Doug Aitken and Paul McCarthy among others.

The films portray the artists in their natural habitats – their ateliers, showcasing the artists as they talk about their respective journeys surrounded by their works. The films aim to display the artists’ stories through intimate interviews and close-ups, the use of natural light, a focus on tactility in their works and the use of natural colors.
