In april 2024 Interesting Times Gang and Bolt entrusted us with the photography of their “Living Vroom”-furniture collection.
The collection aims to upcycle car parts into furniture and inspire multifunctional city spaces and positively impact urban environments. Currently, an astonishing 50% of urban areas are allocated to car infrastructure, including roads, parking lots, and garages.
According to Oliver Wyman’s Shared Mobility’s Global Impact report, adopting shared mobility solutions can significantly reduce the reliance on personal vehicles. Specifically, it can decrease car usage by 19%, freeing up considerable space within cities. This reclaimed space can then be repurposed for parks, pedestrian zones, and other community-centric areas, enhancing the quality of urban life.
The project and our images have received worldwide attention and publicity, and we are proud to have contributed.
